FAQs
Do I have to make an appointment? No, you don't!
How often should I get my bike tuned up? At the very least, once a year to extend the life of your bike. Otherwise, high mileage usage: more often, or before you're planning an event.
How long will my bike repair/tune-up take? In most cases all 3 Steiner's locations can turn repairs around in 24 hours!
I didn't buy my bike at Steiner's. Can I still get work done on it? We will gladly work on all brands of bikes, regardless of where they were purchased.
Will you work on my e-bike? We work on systems equipped with Bosch, Hyena, and TQ. We can do normal bike repairs stuff with other e-bikes but ask that the customer leaves the battery at home
Do you offer bike rentals? No, we don't!
Do you have any bike routes you can recommend? Absolutely! Besides having an extensive knowledge of the bikeable routes in the surrounding areas, we use the Trek RideClub App to record and share rides for all skill levels
Trade-Ins
Will you take my bike in on trade-in? We will take trade-ins only towards the purchase of a new bike. We use BicycleBlueBook.com to assess trade in value.
What if my kid grows out of his bike but its still in good condition? We have a great kids bike trade-in program, letting you get up to half the value of your child's bike towards a new bigger bike!
What if I want to donate my old bike to a good cause? We will gladly take gently used bikes for donation. But be aware, we wont accept bikes that we find unfixable or they may end up in the dumpster.
Will you help me resell my old bike? We will recommend Facebook marketplace or Craigslist for private resale. PRO-TIP: A fresh tune-up can go a long way towards a successful sale.
