This allows Mavic to build lighter rims for quick acceleration.||Mavic’s Exalith 2 rim treatment is a 10 micron thick layer that actually penetrates the rim for exceptional fatigue strength and resistance to wear from braking. It strengthens the rim and spoke holes, and allows for lighter rim weights. Using the included black Mavic Exalith 2 brake pads, braking power and modulation is improved, especially in the rain.|
